We have an immediate requirement for a Business Development Manager.
This is a varied and challenging role, reporting to the Directors.
As the Business Development and Marketing (BDM) Manager you will be responsible for delivering the business development and sales function of the business, in order to develop and grow the customer base, bringing in new customers from both the private and public sectors.
The business development aspect of this position will involve understanding and communicating the Company’s profile where you will identify and action potential new sources of business.
Essential to your success will be your experience in personal selling, direct marketing and your appreciation of business development strategies and practices. You will also have a proven track record in a similar position, ideally gained within a small, fast growing business.
With your creative and imaginative approach, you should be an experienced negotiator, with experience in performing desktop market research and working to defined budgets.
The candidate should be a self-starter, able to work alone as well as in a team environment, with good commercial awareness, communication and negotiating skills to deal with high level executives.
