This public sector client was implementing a large ERP project as part of a major change management programme. However, they had not put a communications strategy in place and both their internal clients and staff were confused as to what was happening and how to order services.
The requirement was for a communications strategy that was flexible, scalable and future proofed and which could be handed back to the client at the end of the implementation project. In conjunction with it there was a long term strategy and a detailed six month communications plan to direct the day to day communications through both tried and test methods using new vehicles which staff said they would like via the comms audit.
This strategy and plan was delivered and the employees had a clear view of what was intended through the project and how it would affect them and when.
